Born on the 23rd of June, 1996, Temilade Openiyi better known as Tems is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and music producer.

She was born and brought up in Lagos State, and started playing the piano when she was young.

Tems would always practice singing with her brother's guitar accompaniment. She had her secondary school education at the Dowen College in Lekki and got a degree in economics from a university in Johannesburg.

She has been singing since 2018 but came into limelight after collaborating with Davido and American singer, Khalid on the Afrobeats remix of 'Know Your Worth'.
