• He holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies from the Bayero University, Kano, a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from the same institution and a diploma in Public Relations Strategy from the London School of Public Relations.
• He started his career at the Daily Trust Newspapers in 2007.
• Jaafar left the job after his appointment as the Special Assistant Media & Public Relation to Gov. Rabiu Kwankwaso.
• He joined Premium Timess as Assistant Editor in 2015 and left a year later to establish the Daily Nigerian newspaper and online publication.

• Jaafar Jaafar was the one who published video clips of Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje receiving $5 million bribe in October, 2018.
