Don't BOycott Anambra Governorship Election Eze Chianumba Tells IPOB

The Executive Assistant to Anambra State Governor on Community Relations as well as the deputy crown Prince of Oroma Etiti kingdom, Prince Eze Chianumba has urged the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) not to boycott the November 6 gubernatorial election scheduled to hold in the next five days. Note that, barely 14 days to the election, the proscribed group had ordered that there should be 5 days sit at home protest  in entire South East if there leader, Nnamdi Kanu was not released.

Eze Chianumba in a news conference after meeting of all political appointees with the Executive Governor of Anambra State held in Governor's Lodge Amawbia , opposed the IPOB sit at home order described it as "disfranchisement of democratic rules and threat to Federal republic of Nigeria."

He says;

"It's totally wrong to boycott Anambra election with sit at home order, an order that seems against the federal government and a threat to Anambra State government.

"The people of Anambra State should coarsely condemn the sit at home order in the South East by IPOB, because it's aimed in boycotting Nov.6 election in the state."

The Anambra youth of any organization should wake up against this order because the future of Anambra rely on young elite of today.

Let me strongly state that, IPOB are ignorance of No-Election in Anambra if they would've discover early, the implication of not conducting election in Anambra State.

"The consequences of boycotting election will be so terrible to Ndi Anambra, notwithstanding section 45 sub-section 3 of Nigeria constitution where the power of declaring State of emergency by the president will be executed.

Eze Chianumba in his further briefing to the newsmen, the 28 year old Gov. Obiano's aide describe the sit at home order as an avenue of riging the Nov.6 election by an opposition party,  urging all Anambra youth to be at alert on securing the results in the poll and immediate upload of election results to INEC portal to avoid fake results duplication, so as to prevent what happened in Imo not to have same occurrence in Anambra.
