What Is The Smartest Business Move? For Me, Looking Into The Future
I was reading through an article on real estate sometime, and the writer made a very compelling statement.
According to her, the moment she read in the news that Gov. Ambode and Alhaji Dangote visited a particular area in Lagos State, she rushed to get a land there.

Guess what happened?
The land she got for less than a million Naira was sold for more than seven million Naira in less than five years.

I have heard tons of that, and I think looking into the future is one of the smartest business moves anyone can make.
American born painter, David Choe has been reported to be one of the luckiest and smartest people in history.

According to reports, he was hired by Facebook incorporated in the year 2005 to make graffiti paintings in the company's headquarters.
After delivering the job, he was to be paid US$60,000 but didn't take them cash, but reinvested them into Facebook stocks at that early stage of the company.
  • In 2005, it was worth $60,000
  • In 2012, it was worth $200 million
  • In 2017, it was worth $500 million
Taking the payment as cash would have been a very good idea anyways, since he would have also had the option of reinvesting it into something else.

I however commend his patience greatly, as it is not so easy to hold on to stocks over 12 years.
