Born on the 27th of November, 1948, Prince Arthur Eze is a Nigerian born politician, philanthropist, entrepreneur and oil mogul.
He is the founder of the Atlas Oranto Petroleum, the largest privately held Nigerian exploration and production group.
He is also reportedly the 8th richest person in Africa.
Otherwise known as the Ozoigbondu’ of Igboland, Arthur is from a royal family, and his elder brother is the traditional ruler (King) of Ukpo Village.
He had his secondary school education at the St. Augustin Secondary School in Nkwere, Imo State in 1970 and studied mechanical and chemical engineering at the California State University, Long Beach from 1974 to 1978.

Eze founded the Atlas Oranto Petroleum in 1991. The company currently has 22 oil and gas licenses in 12 jurisdictions across Africa. 
It also has assets in Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, and several Atlas Oranto operated blocks. 
It is to date the largest holder of oil exploration blocks in Africa.
He also established Triax airlines in the year 1992 but it shut down it's services in 2000.

Popularly known as one of the top political godfathers in the East, Arthur Eze has generally sponsored elections and politicians in Anambra State and beyond.
