He was born in Lagos, Nigeria and relocated to the United States as a teenager to pursue his education.
He describes his music style as electro-fusion and released his debut EP, Evolution in the year 2013.
WurlD's first single, Beyond Our Dreams from the Evolution album was released late 2012.
