The Special Weapons and Tactics Teams, shortened as SWAT was launched just after the SARS were dissolved to take over the duties, excluding checking of phones and personal devices (which wasn't an official duty of the SARS).
It seemed like a SARS in disguise, and Nigerians with whom their taxes are used to fund the various agencies once again are screaming that they don't need it!
