Born on the 13th of October, 1970, Ibrahim Abiodun  Chatta is a Nigerian actor, singer, writer and movie producer.
He has featured in, and produced a good number of Yoruba movies as well as more than 100 soundtracks.

He is of a Tapa descent (Nupe ethnic group), although his mother is from Modakeke, Osun State. In the early years of Ibrahim's life, he had an issue of unruly behaviors, and was always involving in fights, trouble making and so on.

Ibrahim had his primary education at the Saint Bridges Catholic primary school, Bachita, Edu LGA of Kwara State. He obtained his First Leaving School Certificate from the school and moved to the Government Secondary School, still in Bachita, but had relocated to Aggiea, Niger State for his secondary school.
He later enrolled into the Dende Secondary School, Aggiea, but to drop out, thanks to his unruly behaviour.
Chatta has since then self-educated himself via online courses and programs.

Talking about his entertainment career, Ibrahim Chatta has always had a liking for theatre plays and would attend such shows when a theatre group is in town.
He was inspired by other notable entertainers like Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), Duro Ladipo and Ray Eyiwunmi (baba Ray).

He started his career in the 1985 work, baba Ray produced by Joseph Laoye (uncle Joe).
