Egypt To Deport 7 Nigerians For Participating In The End SARS Protests

Eight Nigerians based in Egypt were arrested in October for participating in the End SARS protests without a permit. The Nigerian Embassy in Egypt intervened, and were trying to secure their release, when the government discovered that 7 of them didn't have a residency permit.

The only one of them who had a residency permit signed an undertaken that he's not going to go against the rules of Egypt again, while the Nigerian mission in Egypt is still appealing for leniency on behalf of the seven slated for deportation.

While protesting for a change in your country is okay, it is advisable to check the laws of the country where you are based in and ensure it is in accordance to avoid telling stories.
