Born on the 21st of December, 1929, Sheikh Ahmed Lemu is a teacher, judge, religious pedegogue and supervisor.
He died on the 24th of December, 2020 at age 91.

Sheikh Ahmed Lemu had his early education in the Quranic School from 1932-36, and Elementary School Bida in 1939.
He moved to Intermediate School, currently now the Government College, Lemu and got his intermediate school certificate year 1948. 
In 1950, he attended School of Shari'a Law, currently now School of Arabic Studies Lemu and for his Teacher Certificate Level Two in Arabic Language, of Islamic Studies and Shari'a Jurisdiction and General Education.

Sheikh Ahmed attended the London University, UK, the School of African and Oriental Studies and obtained his certificate of General Education Advanced Level in History, Arabic, Hausa and Persian Languages.

Dr. Lemu served almost entirely in education sector. He was firstly a teacher of Arabic language, English language and Islamic studies at Government Secondary School Bida year 1953-60.
He was promoted as senior teacher of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Education, and made a supervisor at the School of Arabic Studies Kano
He also served as the Director of the school and Deputy Director of Government Secondary Education in 1965, Dean of Arabic Teachers College in 1966, Senior Inspector of Education in 1970 Chief Inspector Education of Sokoto, State in North Nigeria year 1971 - 73. Technical Director 1974-75, Director of Educational Planning 1975-76 in Niger State.

In 2009, Justice Sheikh Ahmed Lemu was appointed a Consultant at the Fountain University of Osogbo, Nigeria.
He got a major role in teaching education, and was also the first Shari'a judge at the Court of Appeals in Sokoto.
He served in Niger State from 1976 - 77 as the Chief Shari'a Judge at the Court of Appeals in Niger State, 1976 - 1991.

Justice Sheikh Ahmed Lemu died at the age of 91 in Minna, Niger State.
