He is the founder of Zoe Fellowship Ministries (ZFM).

Talking about his early life and family, Prophet Elvis Mbonye was born to Leo Ntiru and Teddy Ntiru. He has 6 siblings and his parents died in 1990 and 1996 respectively, leaving them orphaned.
Mbonye had his early education at the Mbuya Nursery School and Kiswa Primary School. He had his college education at the Kigezi College Butobere and got a degree in Development Studies from the Makerere University, Kampala in 2004.
