As the trial resumed today, Friday, the counsel representing Abdulrasheed, Adaji Abel formally withdrew and the counsel asked for a short adjournment to enable him study the facts of the case.
The Justice granted the application on the ground that the defendant who is presumed innocent is entitled to a legal representation.

He subsequently adjourned the case to the 8th of December, 2020 for a continuation of trial.
