Amidst Cheating Rumors, Davido Becomes The First African To Hit 9 Million Twitter Followers

Superstar singer and songwriter, David Adeleke better known as Davido has become the first African to hit 9 million followers on Twitter. The American born artist joined Twitter in September, 2010 and has grown to become the most popular African on the app, thanks to his consistency.
Davido who has been travelling several countries in 2020, was recently rumored to be cheating on his girlfriend, Chioma with a 22 year old American model, Mya Yafai (you can read up about her HERE).
Neither Davido nor Mya has publicly addressed the issues however, and their managements haven't.
Davido is also the most followed African on Instagram, where he boasts of more than 19 million followers, and has been consistently growing over time.
