Born on the 15th of March, 1987, Phumeza Mdabe is a South African actress, movie producer, model and singer.
She came into limelight after playing the role of the front of house manager Phumi in Sokhulu & Partners, an SABC1 drama series.
Phumeza is married to a South African singer, songwriter and producer, Mnqobi ‘Shota’ Mdabe and they have a son, Mpilo. 
Her son, Mpilo was  diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma when he was just sixteen months old, and had his two eyeballs removed to stop the cancer from spreading.

Mdabe starred in an SABC1 drama series, Intersexions in 2011 and landed a cameo role in another drama series, A Place Called Home.
As a singer, she is signed to the Shota Music and has a good number of albums to her credit including Breathing Out, Just Listen, and Hello Happiness. 

She has also hosted a good number of TV shows, as well as participated in several reality shows.
