Born in 1999, Adelabu Alexander better known as Magixx is a Nigerian fast-rising singer and songwriter.
He was born into a Yoruba family with Christian roots, and was raised in Lagos State.
As a young child Alexander developed a very keen interest for music. He was inspired by the likes of Fela, 2baba, D’banj and Shina Peters, and began making music from his bedroom.
Magixx is a student of the University of Lagos, Lagos State. He is pursuing a degree in Mass Communication.
He came into limelight after remixing songs of artists like Burna Boy and Adekunle Gold.
On getting signed into the Mavin Records, he released an EP. Magixx’s EP is a five-track project featuring the following songs – Love Don’t Cost A Dime, Like A Movie, Pati, Gratitude, and Motivate Yourself.
