Chief Dr Olumide Phillips has been named to be the owner of the popular Dowen College according to many online reports. We will be seeing a few things you'd love to know about him.
Osborne Olumide Phillips is a petroleum engineer by training and Chairman of Dowen College, Lekki. He is a member of the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina.
His daughter is a popular singer, songwriter and actress, Lami Phillips. She has a song with Tiwa Savage that was released under Alterplate Records.
Dowen College was the school the late Sylvester Oromoni Jnr attended before his untimely death at the age of 12.
It was a very controversial and sad case of reported murder by other students because he declined to join their cult, and the school has been sealed by the Federal Government.
The school in return had released information stating that young Sylvester sustained injuries while playing football, as opposing the former reports of being bullied and fed chemicals.
