In this article, we'd be seeing a step by step tutorial on how you can transfer airtime from one GLO SIM to another. GLO (Globacom Limited) is the second-largest network operator in Nigeria with over 45 million subscribers and more than 3,500 employees worldwide.

It was founded on the 29th of August, 2003 by Mike Adenuga and has the following strategic business units; Glo mobile, Glo Broad Access, Glo Gateway and Glo-1.

Over the years, GLO has grown to become one of the favourite network providers in Africa, offering its subscribers mouthwatering offers in terms of both airtime and data.

How to transfer airtime on Glo to Glo line

Transferring airtime from one GLO line to the other is very easy, and we've outlined two easy ways to do that:

USSD code to transfer airtime on Glo (EasyShare)

This is the easiest and most convenient method, and also the most popular method. To transfer airtime on Glo with the USSd code, follow the steps below:

 - Insert your Glo SIM and put on your phone
 - Dial *131*Phone Number of the recipient*Amount to be transferred*Password# (if your password is 12345 and you want to transfer N75 to a customer with Phone Number 08155570458, then you dial *131*08155570458*75*12345#).
 - You will receive a notification via text message once the transfer is completed.
NOTE: Your default password is 00000. I highly recommend you change it before transferring the airtime. You can do that by dialling *132*00000*new pin*new pin#

Contacting Glo customer care

You can also share airtime with other Glo customers by contacting customer care. Simply dial the official customer care number; 121.

Follow the instructions and request to speak with an agent.

Explain your request and s/he will request the amount you want to send and the recipient's phone number. Within a few minutes, the airtime will be debited from your balance and sent to him or her.

You can also send a mail to the Glo customer care official email indicating that you want to transfer airtime. This method is slow but will help if you want to document the transfer for future purposes.
