Breaking: 48-Year Old Man Emerges Head Of Association Of Nigerian Students

A 48-year old man, Mr. Sunday Dare Asefon has emerged the new global president of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), amidst sporadic shootings that rocked the contest.

According to our source, Mr. Sunday is a 48-year old postgraduate diploma (PGD) student of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), in Ado-Ekiti.
He is married, and a former coordinator of the Assossiation in Zone 'D' comprising of Southwestern schools.
Mr Sunday is said to be the anointed candidate of the governor of Ekiti State, who reportedly dished out ₦40 million to sponsor his candidature.

He polled 155 to be declared the winner of the contest ahead of Momodu who got 11 votes, Champion got 2, Alopay 7 and Ladoja, 100.
The election saw sporadic shootings, as alleged cultists engaged DSS officials in a shootout.

The outgoing PRO of the NANS, Azeez Adeyemi was reportedly arrested in the process with live cartridge and ammunitions.
With the emergence of 48-year-old Asefoh as the president, he may be becoming the oldest president of the association as the outgoing Bamidele Akpan was sworn in at 42 years.
