She is popularly known for acting as Lulama on E.T.V. Telenova, Broken Vows, as Shado on Soapie Drama Scandal and her role in Happiness Ever After.

Nambitha Ben-Mazwi fondly called Nampo by her family and friends, was born on December 1st, 1988 in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, to South African parents. She joined the Eastern Cape Children’s choir at 12 and this would later provide her with the opportunities to travel around Europe with te choir

However, her professional acting career began with her starring in Mzansi Magic mystery drama series, Doubt where she played the role of Unathi Mweli, the bitchy sister to a man who was charged for the murder of a stripper.


She also played and starred as Tamara in the drama series, Black Mirror, while she was living in New York. 


In 2010, she worked as a broadcaster and was the host for the MTN FIFA Soccer World Cup.


She became the TV commercial brand lead for popular corporations such as Tecno.

She starred in Madiba, a BET hit drama where she starred alongside the famous black American actor, Laurence Fishbune.
